Here’s something different for the blog! Every once in a while, I get to photograph a live concert! This was Randall Shreve playing tribute to Freddie Mercury recently at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing numerous weddings at Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm over the years, and every one has been just perfect!
This venue is located in Goshen, Arkansas, just a few minutes east of Fayetteville. Or, if you’re directionally challenged, it’s to the right of Fayetteville. Ha! Just a quick drive out Highway 45 and it’s on your left. “Can’t miss it.”
Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm is owned by the Buell daily, and I’ve known Donna and her daughter Allison for a number of years. They are truly wonderful people and very helpful and knowledgeable about the wedding planning process. It’s nice to have true professionals on your side when planning a wedding! Their venue has a very pretty indoor Chapel, as well as a stunning outdoor Chapel area. Their indoor reception space on-site has recently been enclosed, and with the addition of new heating and air, it makes for a very comfortable setting year-round!
If you are planning a wedding here in Northwest Arkansas, I’d highly encourage you to take a tour of their property. Their website has lot of great information, and I’ve included some recent wedding pictures I’ve taken out there as well. Just click on the pictures to scroll through them!

I alway love photographing wedding dresses and had a blast shooting a few new dresses for She Said Yes in the Heights in Little Rock recently. I photographed two super cool wedding dresses and one amazing bridesmaid’s dress. Check them out if you’re in Little Rock!
Every month I put together a networking meeting for local wedding vendors, and this month’s meeting was at The Inn at Carnall Hall in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While I was there, I took a few photos of their renovations, which look amazing! They’ve kept the historic feel of the building while modernizing the furnishings. I’ve had the honor of photographing a TON of weddings here over the years, all of them beautiful and flawless! Check it out if you’re looking for an exquisite wedding venue in Northwest Arkansas!
I just had a phone call with a sweet bride about her wedding later this year at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, Arkansas. I told her I’d put together a gallery of recent wedding photographs I’ve taken there to show her what all I’ve done there, and thought I’d share them here too!
Some of these pictures were taken in full shade, some were taken in full blown sun, but most were the famous Arkansas “sun at full blast for five minutes, then sun behind the clouds for five minutes, then sun full blast again...” Gotta love that! But no worries, I can handle challenging lighting situations. In fact, I actually enjoy it. It’s like winning a game or solving a puzzle.
If you’re planning a wedding in Northwest Arkansas, be sure to consider Cooper Chapel, or it’s twin, Thorncrown Chapel, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Both Chapels hold a maximum of 120 guests, and are best for smaller wedding parties. Both Chapels have changing rooms for the bride. The acoustics are great in these Chapels so consider a soloist and a string quartet!

So I don't mean to brag, because now it's just getting embarrassing, but I've won yet another award for my wedding photography! I am a member of and advertise on The Knot, which is kind of like the "who's who" of wedding photography nationwide. In order to receive this award, you have to have a high enough number of good reviews. Only the top few percent of The Knot's members receive this award, according to their website. They are mailing me a plaque with my name on it that will be here in a few weeks, but they sent me this "badge" for now! I'm always honored to be recognized for my wedding photography!
